Rezidence Liběchov

The hotel is a reconstructed 1930s villa, built in art deco style by architect Josef Lauerman. Factory owner Moučka of Prague, who had it built for his wife, commissioned it.

It was confiscated by the Wehrmacht during the second World War, returned to its owners following the war's end, only to be confiscated again by the communist regime in 1948.

It was returned to the descendants of the initial owner in the restitution of 2002. In the meantime, the villa served as Prague's training centre and as an educational facility.

The reconstruction of the villa preserved the architectural art deco style both in the interior and exterior, as the oak parquets, wooden balustrades, stucco ceilings, forged metal railings and a marble fireplace command respect for olden craftsmanship.

Our Chef will prepare a delightful menu from fresh ingredients and herbs from our own garden.

Both international and traditional Czech delicacies are served on retro-style tableware in an environment that creates a great atmosphere.

You can enjoy your aperitif on the terrace, your dinner in the restaurant, your cigar and cognac in comfortable armchairs beside a lit fireplace, and finish off with a coffee in the garden.

At the bar, seated in comfortable bar-stools, you can even enjoy a creative cocktail or two...Ideal relaxation after a busy day at work.
